Must-Try Asian Food Spots in Orlando, FL (2026 Edition!)

Sitting inside Susuru Restaurant
Susuru - Japanese Restaurant

Greetings, my fellow foodie! Welcome back to my blog, where I share all my favorite finds with you, my online bestie.

I’ve put together a list of my all-time favorite Asian food spots in Orlando, so you can experience the best meals in the area, whether you’re local or visiting for vacation.

From restaurants to dessert shops and even indoor Asian food stalls, there’s something here for everyone. Whether you’re planning your trip or exploring as a local, you’re bound to discover a few new favorites.

Here is my list of the best Asian food spots in Orlando, in no particular order:

Kung-Fu Kitchen - Chinese Cuisine

I should start by saying this is currently my favorite Chinese restaurant—to the point where I’ll happily drive a few hours just to experience the umami heaven that is their food. ✨ Featured in the Michelin Guide (casual flex), this spot serves up everything I crave: Roast Duck Ramen with soup, pork Xiao Long Bao, Shanghai pan-fried pork buns, and sticky rice shumai. Keep in mind, this isn’t even the OG Kung-Fu Kitchen from NYC, yet I’m 100% obsessed. The Honey Green Tea Lemonade and Mango Slush are dangerously easy to finish and they have many other great drinks to choose from. I’ve even visited another location in Connecticut—and yes, it delivered. Whether you’re going with friends, family, a date, or just ordering takeout, you really can’t go wrong here.

Susuru - Japanese Cuisine

Are you looking to step into a little slice of Japan without the travel price? Susuru delivers just that—packed, authentic, and serving some of the best Ikazaya Japanese food you can find in the U.S. The yakitori is next-level, and the lively crowd shows you’re in good hands. The staff is super friendly, and having visited Japan myself, I can confidently say this is as warm and comforting as casual Japanese food gets in the US. Quick note: They don't take reservations. The only thing I wasn’t head-over-heels for was the matcha dessert—but honestly, that’s a minor detail in an otherwise stellar experience. And if dessert is non-negotiable, you’re in luck. Just a few minutes away is my next recommendation: Mango Mango Dessert—which brings me to my next stop…

Mango Mango Dessert - Chinese Cuisine

A hidden gem in Orlando, Mango Mango Dessert is a Chinese-owned shop serving some of the best Asian-inspired sweets in the area. Their fruit bowls are piled with toppings like sweet purple rice, sago, jelly, and ice cream, all bathed in coconut milk or fresh mango juice, while their hot desserts—like ube soup with sago and rice balls or black sesame paste soup with mochi—offer cozy, comforting options. Refreshing, adventurous, and full of flavor, this spot is a must-try for anyone craving Asian desserts—you might even find yourself craving it again the very next day. 🥭

Kaya - Filipino Cuisine

Looking for a top-notch romantic meal with warm, contemporary family vibes? Kaya, a family-owned restaurant, is the perfect spot. With a laid-back, friendly crowd, beautiful indoor space, and outdoor seating under string lights, it’s the kind of place you settle into and don’t want to leave. Whether you’re coming with friends, family, or your other half, you’ll get some of the best Filipino food in Central Florida—definitely worth a reservation. Fun fact: My husband took me here for our anniversary and I LOVED it!

Taste of Chengdu - Chinese Cuisine

You might be wondering why I’m including another Chinese restaurant when I already raved about Kung-Fu Kitchen—but this spot is worth it (another restaurant featured in the Michelin-guide). With a wider menu and bold Sichuan flavors, it’s as authentic as it gets. Recommended by my mother-in-law (possibly an even bigger foodie than me!), it offers dishes you won’t find at just any Chinese restaurant—like my personal favorite, Chinese potato stir-fry (酸辣土豆丝). FYI: Chinese potato stir-fry is a secret menu item, so you have to ask for it! All in all, if you’re craving something with a little more kick and a menu that truly transports you to China, this place is a must-try.

Mills Market - Multiple Cuisines (Vietnamese, Japanese, Chinese)

This is such an exciting indoor “Asian street food” concept, where you can try multiple eats and shops all under one roof. Think cafeteria style, but way more fun—with a photo strip booth that has unique/cute filters, a Japanese convenience store section, and seven different shops to choose from. I tried the Vietnamese Bánh Mì, Uni Girl’s Onigiri, the Japanese Egg Sando, and so much more! It’s a great way to explore new Asian dishes without spending a lot of money, and you can enjoy flavors from multiple cultures in one spot. I wish they had something like this near me, so whether you’re a local or visiting Orlando, this is a must-try—even if your schedule is packed, stop by for snacks before you leave!

H-Mart Orlando - Multiple Cuisines (Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese, Korean)

This is more of an honorable mention since it’s technically an Asian grocery store, but don’t let that fool you—the food court is packed! Similar to Mills Market, you can sample a variety of dishes in one spot, all at affordable prices. It’s a perfect place to hang out with friends, grab some delicious food, and explore their fun selection of groceries, beauty products, housewares, plants, and more. What's not to love?
